Bear Chase

They say that crazy things happen to crazy people. Well then I must be one of the crazy people that they are referring to. I mean every time I turn around something uncommon is going on around me. Do you ever get the feeling that someone is following you? Well I do. But, every time I turn around there is no one to be seen it’s almost deserted.

So one day my friend and I decided to go on an adventure. We both decided to go on a camping trip. I don’t know what we were thinking but, we both have no sense of direction. We got there and we both tried to pit together the tent. It took us about two hours. I mean that isn’t so bad, is it? Who am I kidding that is horrible? Anyways, it was our first night and we had no idea what to do. I was totally freaked out and scared to death but, I wasn’t going to tell her that. I’m not that crazy, so she could go spread it around town.

We were sitting there doing nothing. So I decided that maybe we should make some smores. While we were sitting there we started to hear some weird noises. And they didn’t sound human. I decided that maybe we should go check it out. Trying to be the brave one, when I’m three seconds away from wetting my pants.

Were walking through the woods and I have no idea were we are going and were we are going to end up. We are just following the sound, which I’m deciding wasn’t such a good idea. As we get closer I start to see something and trust me it isn’t a human. I see that it is an enormous bear. Just when we are abut to turn around and run, the bear spots us. It gives us a look and we give it a look back.

We just make a run for it. As we are running I turn around to see that the bear is chasing us. Oh, I’m really about to pee my pants now and cry like a baby. We run as fast as we can. I really don’t want to die right now, just not in the woods were maybe our bodies will never be found.

We get back to the camp sight and go run and get in the car. I think I just wet my pants for real. I turn around to see if the bear is still behind us. It’s not, good. Out of nowhere the bear jumps out in the front of the car. I’ve never screamed so loud.

We end up running over the bear and killing it. We get back home with only a couple of scratches. I’m so glad that we are alive and not dead. I will never kill another bear, because I am never going back to the woods again.
