Lonely Girl

Somewhere in Yellow Stone National Park.

When you are walking through a forest, you look up and see all of these big, enormous trees. There’s all these little creepy crawlers that are all around. They almost give you a heart attack, you’re so scared. Turn around and you will see birds swooping through the air.

But, if you look far outside the forest and you will see someone sitting in the shade. At first your not sure of what your eye is seeing. Then you try and squint a bit and you make out that it’s a human figure. And, then a little more clearly that it’s a girl. Now you look around and ask what would a human be all the way out here for. No one around all deserted, by yourself.

Well you see that this young girl has no place to go. That’s why she’s all out here all alone. She’s not even sure how she ended up there herself. Sitting there not knowing what she is going to do. No idea what she is going to eat and how she is going to survive? She looks around at all of the plants and she decides that she is going to see how they taste. They taste really horrible. But, she thinks it’s the only thing I have to eat, so it’s going to have to work.

This young girl had come her after she ran away from home. She was sitting up in here room. Her parents had just got done yelling at her for what she thought was no big deal. All she could think about is how much she hated being in that house and how much she hated her life. That day it had been a really bad storm. Her parents were out and would be back after the storm slowed down. It was that day that she decided that she couldn’t take anymore of her parents crap, and so she decided to leave and be on her own. Her parents came back but she was nowhere to be found. They were so worried that they weren’t going to see her again.

Now that almost three days have passed, she is starting to think that maybe running away wasn’t such a good idea. But, why should she go back home? Her parents didn’t love her anyway. She had no idea that they were doing everything to find her. They missed her a lot and they did love her. She was smart enough to bring a pillow and a blanket. Even some food. But, of course it didn’t last that long. Starting to get tired she decided to lie down and go to sleep. When she woke up she found that there were a million little things crawling on and around her. Screaming to the top her lungs she got up and shook everything off.

Oh how much she really missed her room right now. Her warm bed that was extremely comfortable. All of the things in her room that made her feel so right at home, maybe gone forever. She had no idea how she was going to survive out here. She say down and begin to cry. Why had she done this to herself? That’s the question that kept popping up in her brain. All of the crazy things she had done in her life, this had to be the dumbest and stupidest thing yet.

Wait she had remembered that she had brought her cell phone. Pulling it out and dialing her mother’s cell phone. It started to ring and then a voice said, “Sorry you have no service”. She got so upset that she threw the phone and it hit a tree, breaking in half. Duhh it’s a forest, of course I have no service. Maybe I’m just starting to loose my mind she thought.

After standing there just looking around, she decided that she had to make a decision. And, a smart one at that. She decided that she was going to find a way to make it home. She couldn’t just stay in the forest sitting there. I mean she could but she would just end up dying. That she was not trying to do and she would accomplish nothing by doing so.

Thinking long and hard, she came up with nothing. She had no idea how she was going to find her way back home. Eventually she decided to backtrack and follow her footprints. That’s a pretty smart idea, she thought, my brain most be working again.

It took her about 7 days or a week to find her way back home. She looked up and found that she was looking at the front of her house she sighed in relief.

Walking up to the front door and turning the knob, she walked right in. She heard her mother in the kitchen crying saying why did she run away. Starting to feel really bad, it was then she realized that her parents did love her. She walked into the kitchen and her mother ran giving her a hug. Her mother asked why would she just leave like that. She said because she thought that they didn’t love her. Her mother still crying saying “of course we love you”.

                                                             The end
